24 logotypes & typefaces

As part of my experience at the Basel School of Design, I studied graphic design, typography, and layout through the lens of a Swiss designer. I created a book highlighting 24 prominent typefaces, the logotypes I derived from them, as well as the photographs I took during my time abroad.

I began by creating the logotypes in Adobe Illustrator, playing with different ways to combine letters of a specific typeface in an interesting way. Then in InDesign, I showcased the logotypes using a Swiss-style grid. The result is a beautiful documentation of my time in Switzerland and my knowledge of layout and typography. Below are some of my favorite spreads from the book.
